  Who Should Attend: The PRINCE2 Agile qualifications are intended for anyone involved in projects looking to introduce agile concepts and techniques, as well as for those working in non-project environments looking to adopt agile ways of working. It is also relevant to project management personnel, agile practitioners, project management office members, and other project-related roles, such as business analysts and change managers.
  Official Prerequisites: PeopleCert requires one of the following certifications as a prerequisite for the PRINCE2 Agile (Version 2) Practitioner exam. PeopleCert will not release exam results without proof of certification.

  Pre-Course Knowledge: To get the most out of your learning experience, Learning Tree recommends working knowledge of project management concepts at the level of PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation.  Spending some time familiarizing yourself with the official PRINCE2 Agile eBook before class will also help.

  Certification & Exam Information

  Certification Alignment: This course helps you prepare for the PRINCE2 Agile (Version 2) Practitioner certification exam.
  Certification Expectations: Attendees should expect that some study outside of course hours will be required for certification success. The amount of self-study will depend on prior familiarity with the topic. Passing the exam is not guaranteed.
  PRINCE2 Agile (Version 2) Practitioner Exam Details:

  • Duration: 2 hours, 30 minutes
  • Number of Questions: 50
  • Pass Rate: 30 out of 50 (60%)
  • Exam Style: Multiple Choice, Open Book
  • Exam Delivery: You will receive an exam voucher and a link to register and schedule your online exam session with the PeopleCert web proctoring service.   What to Expect

  Exam Prep Course: This course is designed to help you prepare for a certification exam. You can expect coverage of all exam learning objectives, with a focus on understanding key concepts, terminology, and how they’re assessed. For a deeper, more hands-on learning experience, consider Course 3644, Agile Project Management.
  Content Volume: Certification courses cover a large amount of material in a short time. Instructors prioritize content tied to exam objectives and supplementary topics will be addressed as time allows.
  Class Pace: Certification courses are fast-paced and adhere to a strict schedule so that all exam objectives are covered. While discussions and examples are included, the focus remains on certification readiness.
  Outside of Class Study Time: Plan for self-study outside of class, especially if the concepts are new to you. Passing the exam is not guaranteed.

Learning Objectives

Required Pre-Course Preparation

• Review the pre-course communication from Learning Tree to understand how to access all your course materials.
• Ensure you have access to your PeopleCert and My Learning Tree portals before the start of class. Reach out to Learning Tree customer service if you are having trouble.
• Familiarize yourself with the PRINCE2 Agile official eBook available in your PeopleCert portal.
• Be prepared for up to two hours of study after class each evening, depending on your prior level of familiarity with the course material.

Practitioner Module 1: Introduction to PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner

• Familiarize with the key aspects and features of the course.
• Review the project scenario used with the sample exam questions
• Recall some of the key concepts of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course.

Practitioner Module 2: Agile mindset, project management, and organizational change management

• Explain the benefits of adopting an agile mindset, differentiating between ‘being agile’ and ‘doing agile’.
• Apply key characteristics of the agile mindset.
• Understand and apply PRINCE2 Agile principles in project performance areas.
• Describe the importance of organizational change management and key considerations for building and leading successful agile teams.

Practitioner Module 3: The PRINCE2 Agile practices and their application

• Understand how PRINCE2 Project Management practices are tailored for an agile context.
• Apply agile artifacts and techniques in project planning and execution.
• Analyse the effectiveness of approaches to applying PRINCE2 Agile practices and roles, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
• Demonstrate the ability to integrate agile roles into PRINCE2 Project Management structures.

Practitioner Module 4: The PRINCE2 Agile processes and their application

• Apply the processes demonstrating an understanding of process activities, associated workshops and artifacts in an agile context.
• Analyse whether the processes are effectively tailored and fit for purpose in an agile context, taking into consideration: activities, associated workshops, and artifacts.

Practitioner Module 5: The application of PRINCE2 Agile in the wider context

• Apply PRINCE2 Agile within agile product management.
• Apply PRINCE2 Agile guidance when transitioning from agile projects to operations.
• Apply PRINCE2 Agile guidance during continuous agile development and operations.
