AgileBA® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training

Business Analysts play a crucial role in projects, through analysis of the organization’s needs and the alignment of business projects to those needs.  Introducing an agile approach has a significant impact on the role of the Business Analyst, on their existing skills and their way of working. Whilst traditional skills are still valuable, new skills and ways of working need to be adopted to harness the benefits of a new way of working and to appreciate the different relationships with co-workers and stakeholders.

AgileBA® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training Benefits

• This course will:

  • Prepare you for the AgileBA Foundation and Practitioner exams (AgileBA eBook, AgileBA Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers and sample exam papers included)
  • Apply the underpinning philosophy, principles and processes of AgileBA in a project situation.
  • Describe and apply the Agile approach to managing and prioritising requirements.
  • Produce and evaluate the content of BA-produced products during an Agile project.
  • Identify and apply popular Agile techniques in a project situation, including MoSCoW prioritisation, iterative development and timeboxing.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities within an Agile project and the different levels of empowerment with respect to requirements and the business case.
  • Understand the mechanisms for facilitation and support within an Agile project.
  • Understand how to test, estimate and evaluate benefits delivery in an Agile project.
  • Describe and apply the Agile approach to managing requirements.
  • Continue learning and face new challenges with after-course one-on-one instructor coaching (eligible on public events)

• Prerequisites

  While not required, we encourage you to familiarise yourself with the AgileBA Agile Business Analysis Handbook before the training starts.

  You will be required to complete evening study.

• Exam Information

  Foundation exam format:

  • Multiple Choice
  • 50 questions, 25 marks to pass (50% pass)
  • 40 minutes duration
  • Closed Book

  Practitioner exam format:

  • Complex multiple choice
  • 4 questions, 80 question items, 40 marks to pass (50% pass)
  • 2.5 hours,
  • Open Book (AgileBA Handbook only)

  The APMG Agile Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner - AgileBA® exams are invigilated during class hours by the course instructor. The Foundation exam is taken on Day 4 of the course and needs to be passed before attempting the Practitioner Exam which is taken on the morning of Day 5.
