    There is no Scrum Alliance or Learning Tree exam.

CSPO Training Outline

Module 1: Introducing Agile Principles

In this module, you will: 

  • Define Agile values and principles 
  • Contrast Waterfall and Agile product development philosophies 
  • Confront the challenges of adopting Agile 
  • Learn to set up cross-functional Agile teams  

Module 2: Defining the Scrum Framework

In this module, you will learn about: 

  • The core Scrum framework, team, artifacts, and ceremonies 
  • Applying core Scrum Values 
  • Leveraging checks and balances 

Module 3: Scrum Ceremonies and Artifacts

In this module, you will learn how to:  

  • Create a Product Backlog 
  • Implement a Sprint Backlog 
  • Develop potentially shippable product increment 
  • Organize Spring Planning meetings and Daily Scrums  
  • Demonstrate products in Sprint Reviews  
  • Participate in the Sprint Retrospective 

Module 4: Defining the Product Owner Role

In this module, you will learn how to:  

  • Develop a product vision and strategy 
  • Integrate Agile and waterfall teams 
  • Estimate product scope and delivery 
  • Engage stakeholders, customers, and end-users in product development and delivery 
  • Develop positive and strong working relationships with Scrum teams 
  • Track, manage, and communicate through the right Agile metrics 

Module 5: Building Your Product Backlog
